DURHAM, N.C. – Duke landed a league-high 11 selections on the 93-member 2020 All-ACC Academic Football team announced by the ACC on Monday.Â

Six of Duke's 11 picks were repeat selections, with four earning this accolade for the third straight season. Devery Hamilton garnered his first All-ACC Academic honor, but the third academic nod of his career after being named a two-time Pac-12 All-Academic selection before arriving in Durham.
Duke paced the league with its 11 picks, followed by followed by Clemson (9), Miami (9), NC State (7), Notre Dame (7), Virginia (7), Boston College (6), North Carolina (6), Virginia Tech (6), Louisville (5), Pittsburgh (5), Syracuse (5), Wake Forest (5), Florida State (3), and Georgia Tech (2). Â

Over the last nine seasons (2012-20), Duke has produced a conference-best 129 All-ACC Academic selections ahead of Clemson (51), Pittsburgh (49), Virginia (47), N.C. State (43), Syracuse (43), Wake Forest (39), Virginia Tech (34), Boston College (33), Miami (33), Georgia Tech (28), Louisville (26), North Carolina (23) and Florida State (15). Of note, Syracuse and Pittsburgh's totals do not include 2012, while Louisville's sum does not include 2012-13. Notre Dame is also not included on this list.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 or better grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. The league has selected an All-ACC Academic Football team every year since 1954.
