ORLANDO, Fla. ā The LPGA Tour will return to action this week for the 2021 opener at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions presented by Insurance Office of America, which will be played at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club in Orlando, Fla., from Jan. 21-24. Ā
LPGA winners from 2018, 2019 and 2020 were invited for the event, which includes Duke 2016 graduate Celine Boutier.Ā Boutier, who hails from France, won the 2019 ISPS Handa Vic Open for her first LPGA victory.
The field will also include 53 celebrities from the sports and entertainment worlds, who will tee alongside the LPGA Tour golfers all four days.Ā Boutier will be paired with Ray Allen and former Duke men's basketball and NBA standout Grant Hill.Ā The trio will tee off at 9:30 a.m., in the first round Thursday, Jan. 21.
Since joining the LPGA in 2017, Boutier has registered $1,464,360 earnings.Ā She is coming off a 2020 campaign where she totaled seven top 20 finishes and a season-best second-place ledger at the LPGA Drive On Championship. Ā

Duke will feature a total of six Blue Devils on the LPGA Tour in 2021 as
Ana Belac, Lindy Duncan, Brittany Lang, Yu Liu and Leona Maguire earned their tour cards for the season.Ā The full season will get started Feb. 25-28 for the Gainbridge Championship in Orlando, Fla. Ā
