DURHAM, N.C.— Looking back at the 2020 LPGA and Symetra Tour campaigns, Duke women's golf made a big impact on both of the tours.
For the first time in LPGA history, a Blue Devil golfer led the tour in putting as rookie Leona Maguire averaged 28.69 putts per round, which was far better than the 30.14 tour average. The LPGA started tracking putting stats in 1992.
Along with Maguire in the LPGA stats, Duke graduate Celine Boutier ranked 10th with a 29.29 average and two-time Blue Devil All-America Brittany Lang ranked 25th (29.64).
