2003 – Women's Basketball -- Alana Beard and Iciss Tillis paced the 2003 USA Young Women's National Team to the gold medal with a 71-55 victory over Brazil in Sibenik, Croatia. Beard earned 2003 All-FIBA World Championship for Young Women Team.
August 4
2007 – Women's Basketball -- Krystal Thomas and Jasmine Thomas led the USA Women's U19 World Championship Team to a 99-57 victory over Sweden to capture the gold medal in Bratislava, Slovakia. Jasmine Thomas notched 13 points and four rebounds, while Krystal Thomas added four points, four rebounds and one blocked shot in the gold medal contest.
August 7
2002 – Women's Golf -- Leigh Anne Hardin and the United States squad took down Great Britain & Ireland, 11-7, at the Curtis Cup, which was played in Pittsburgh, Pa.
August 8
2012 – Track & Field – Duke alumna Shannon Rowbury qualified for the 1500 meter finals at the 2012 London Olympics. The 2007 graduate ran a time of 4:05.47 to grab the fifth and final automatic qualifying spot and earn the right to race in the final heat on Friday, August 10.

2003 – Women's Golf -- Virada Nirapathpongporn won the U.S. Women's Amateur by defeating Jane Park, 2 and 1, at the Par 71, 6,368-Yard Philadelphia Country Club.
2008 – Women's Golf -- Amanda Blumenherst won the U.S. Women's Amateur by defeating Azahara Munoz, 2-and-1, in the 36-hole match play final at the 6,516-yard, par-72 Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore.
