DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke swimming and diving programs placed 26 student-athletes on the 2019-20 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, as announced by the organization Wednesday.

The 26 Scholar All-America selections mark the most in program history, besting the previous record set last season (23).

To be selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and achieved a 'B' time standard or competed at the NCAA Championships or Zone Diving qualifier.

The Duke women's team saw 17 of its student-athletes place on the Scholar All-America list with six first team All-America selections. Recent graduates

Ali Watson led the squad earning first team status.

Miles Williams, were named first team All-Americans. Both Hernandez and Williams earned CSCAA first team All-America after the cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Championships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Seven additional Duke men earned Honorable Mention honors: recent graduate
