DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's golf fans will have a treat this week as the Golf Channel will look back at the Blue Devils' NCAA Championship run with coverage of the 2019 championship, which was held at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
From 3-6 p.m. (ET) Tuesday, May 26, Golf Channel will air the final round of the individual medal play, before showing the semifinals of match play with Duke facing Arizona from 3-6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 27. Golf Channel will close the week with a double-dose of airing the NCAA Championship match between Duke and Wake Forest from 2-6 p.m. (ET) and 7-11 p.m. (ET).
The championship match coverage is titled "Watch Along with Champions presented by Stifel," which features analysis and play-by-play commentary with Duke head coach
Dan Brooks,
Ana Belac,
Jaravee Boonchant and
Miranda Wang. Golf Channel's Steve Burkowski will host the enhanced telecasts.
In addition, members of GOLF Channel's NCAA tournament broadcast team as well as participants from the championship will engage on social media throughout the three days of tournament coverage using the hashtag #NCAAGolf.
Duke was able to knock off Stanford in the quarterfinals, 3-2, followed by a 3-2 victory over Arizona in the semifinals and an extra holes, 3-2, triumph over Wake Forest to win for the Blue Devils' seventh NCAA Championship under the direction of Brooks.
Members of Duke's 2019 championship squad recently got together via zoom to talk about winning the title and it will be posted on www.GoDuke.com Thursday, May 28.
