What is your favorite field hockey memory?
"At a U16 NIT qualifier, I had to serve as goalie and an attacker for shoot outs. My team ended up winning the game and placing first in the qualifier which put us in the A pool at the 2018 National Indoor Tournament."
How did you start playing field hockey?
"At a young age, I practiced gymnastics, soccer, and lacrosse. Lacrosse became my main focus as I joined a travel team and competed at tournaments. Because my high school did not offer girl's lacrosse, I decided to try a different sport to prepare for high school athletics. I joined the Delmar Youth Field Hockey Camp at age 7 and never looked back."
Who has made the biggest impact on your life?
"On and off the field, my older brother, Dillon, was humble, kind, determined, and goal oriented. His character, demeanor, and personality was, in my eyes, everything I aspired to be. Watching and learning from him has made me into the person I am today."
Why Duke?
"As soon as I stepped foot on campus, I loved everything about it. The atmosphere of campus and chemistry of the team felt like home. The rigorous academic and athletic programs will allow me to challenge myself and push to high standards of excellence."
Best advice you've ever been given?
"The only thing you can control is your mindset."
