DURHAM, N.C. – Only three days remain to vote for Duke University women's basketball graduate

Named after the first player, male or female, named to an All-America Team in four straight college seasons, the annual award in its third year recognizes the top shooting guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball.
Gorecki, a native of Palatine, Ill., was the only student-athlete in power five conferences averaging over 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals. She collected seven double-doubles and 12 contests with 20 or more points for the Blue Devils. On the year, Gorecki averaged 18.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.1 steals.
The winner of this award will be determined by a combination of fan votes and input from the Basketball Hall of Fame's selection committee. By visiting hoophallawards.com, fans will have the ability to vote for who they think should win. The voting opens on Friday, March 13 and will run until Friday, March 27. The player that wins the fan voting will receive one additional vote for the award. Beginning at 1 p.m., Friday, Duke fans are encouraged to head to www.hoophallawards.com and vote once per day.
A 6-1 guard, Gorecki ranked in the top 20 in numerous ACC categories including second in scoring (18.5), second in steals (2.1), seventh in assists (4.4), third in free throw percentage (85.6), 18th in rebounds (6.6), third in minutes played (36.4), eighth in three-point field goals made (2.0) and seventh in three-point field goal percentage (33.7).
