DURHAM, N.C. – Duke field hockey had 14 student-athletes selected for the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Squad, as announced by the NFHCA on Tuesday morning.
For the fourth straight year, senior
Jillian Wolgemuth was selected for the team. The other 13 Blue Devils selected for the team were:

Leah Crouse,
Lexi Davidson,
Caroline Hanan,
Mary Harkins,
Charlotte Johnson,
Grace Kim,
Hannah Miller,
Margaux Paolino,
Lily Posternak,
Kelsey Reznick,
Olivia Sahaydak and
Libby Thompson.
This year, there were 1,052 student-athletes from 75 schools represented on the team. The National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year.
Duke was one of 73 programs recognized for the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team on March 3 as
Pam Bustin's squad combined for a 3.517 GPA in the fall semester.
Two DI academic awards remain to be announced – the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Scholars of Distinction (3/23) and the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA National Scholar-Athlete (3/31).
