GREENSBORO, N.C. – Duke men's swimming and diving wrapped up the second day of the ACC Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday at the Greensboro Aquatics Center (GAC).

After the second day of competition, the men are in eighth with 229 points.

In the 'B' Final of the 50 freestyle, senior
Miles Williams placed second with a career-best 19.54, matching the Duke school record set by James Peek and improving his NCAA 'B' cut time from earlier in the year. Freshman
Charlie Gingrich placed eighth in the 'C' Final after swimming a career-best 20.00 in the morning.

Sheldon Boboff was the top Blue Devil finisher in the 200 individual medley, placing sixth in the 'B' event with a time of 1:46.40. His 1:46.05 in the preliminaries set a career-best.
Cole Reznick represented Duke in the 'C' Final, placing fourth in 1:46.52. His time just missed his career-best 1:46.49 that he set in the preliminaries that moved him to fifth all-time at Duke.

In the final event of the day, the 200 freestyle relay,
Williams, Boboff, Nathaniel Hartley, Gingrich swam a season-best 1:18.61 to place ninth in the event. The time was also the sixth-best performance in Duke history.

The Blue Devils will compete in the 100 fly, 400 individual medley, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back and 400 medley relay tomorrow at the event. The evening action will begin at 6 p.m., at the GAC in Greensboro, N.C.
