DURHAM, N.C. – Prior to the start of conference season this weekend, the ITA released updated singles and doubles rankings after the 2020 ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
Heading the 10th-ranked Blue Devils is junior
Kelly Chen at No. 7, freshman

Chen has seen a very strong first month in the 2020 season and was an integral part to Duke's success at indoor nationals.
Playing on Duke's top court in Chicago, Chen went 1-0 in addition to two unfinished matches. Against the top-ranked singles player in the country, Chen took Pepperdine's Ashley Lahey to three sets and was leading once play was suspended (3-6, 6-3, 5-3). The Cerritos, Calif., native took down 2019 NCAA runner-up Katarina Jokic of Georgia (5-7, 6-4, 6-2) in Duke's 4-2 quarterfinal victory. When the two last met, Chen fell to Jokic in the semifinals of the NCAA Singles Tournament last May. Chen rounded out her impressive indoor season leading No. 7 Alexa Graham of North Carolina (6-2, 6-5).
Rookie Beck owns a 7-1 dual ledger this spring with her lone loss coming to North Carolina in the semifinals of indoor nationals.
Beck defeated No. 124 Lisa Zaar of Pepperdine (1-6, 6-2, 6-4) in the round of 16 before a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Georgia's Elena Christofi in the quarterfinals. The Watkinsville, Ga., native was unable to hold off No. 101 Makenna Jones of North Carolina in the semifinals as she fell 6-4, 6-3.
Bilokin was also undefeated heading to Chicago and ultimately went 1-1 on the weekend.
The New Caanan, Conn., native was tabbed No. 74 by the ITA and took down Pepperdine's No. 36 Anastasia Iamachkine (6-3, 6-4) on court three before a 6-1, 7-5 setback to No. 18 Lea Ma of Georgia on court two in the quarterfinals. The sophomore's match against No. 9 Cameron Morra was unfinished in the semifinals as she trailed 7-6 (5), 4-2.
Senior Chi boasts the only undefeated record on the team with a flawless 7-0, playing most of her matches on court four.
Ranked No. 89 by the ITA, Chi defeated Astrid Olsen of Pepperdine in a three-set thriller (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) in round of 16 action before a 6-1, 7-6 (6) rout of Georgia's Anna Hertel in the quarterfinals. In the semifinal match against North Carolina, Chi forced a third set when play was suspended (2-6, 7-5).
In doubles, Beck and Chi hold the No. 44 spot despite not seeing action together so far this spring.
