Maddie McCorkle joins the Blue Devils after a successful prep career at Hanover High School. A US All-American, three-time first-team All-State honoree and two-time selection to the New Hampshire/Vermont First Team selection for the National Tournament, McCorkle graduated as the all-time leader in draw controls and ground balls at Hanover through just three seasons. In total, the Hanover, N.H., native amassed 184 goals and 33 assists in her three years.
McCorkle's best year came in 2019 when she, as a junior, tallied 63 goals and seven assists on her way to All-America and first-team All-State status and was also named Valley News Athlete of the Year. She earned Under Armour All-American New England status as a junior as well.
Not only was McCorkle stellar at lacrosse but she also excelled on the basketball court. She earned second-team All-State honors as a sophomore before earning first-team All-State recognition as a junior and senior. In addition to All-State honors, McCorkle was named the New Hampshire Defensive Player of the Year and reached the 1,000-point mark as a senior.
