DUKE VS. MIAMI...
Duke and Miami will meet for the 14th time in school history with the Blue Devils leading the series, 11-1-1. In games played in Coral Gables, Fla., Duke owns a 5-1-1 mark. In the overall series, the Blue Devils have outscored Miami, 33-8.
The Blue Devils feature a six-game winning streak over the Hurricanes and have outscored Miami, 15-2, in those contests. The last loss for Duke to Miami was Oct. 7, 2010 in Miami, Fla.

DUKE NEEDS WIN TO SECURE ACC TOURNAMENT BID...
The Blue Devils enter the regular season finale with a 3-2-2 league mark and 11 points. Duke needs a win Sunday at Miami to secure a top eight finish in the ACC to advance to the ACC Championship in Cary, N.C. The 11 points currently has Duke seventh in the league.
WHAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST MEETING...
On Sept. 20, 2018, Duke registered a 2-0 victory over Miami in Coral Gables, Fla.
Tess Boade and Taylor Racioppi each registered goals, while
Mackenzie Pluck and
Karlie Paschall posted assists in the shutout win. In goal for Duke,
Brooke Heinsohn netted the shutout.

NOTING DUKE...
• Duke has allowed only four goals in ACC play in 2020, which is the tied for second fewest in the league.
• Prior to Duke collecting three first half goals at Syracuse, the Blue Devils had scored only two first half goals on the season, while scoring five goals in the second half.
• The Blue Devils have notched 79 corner kicks on the season to rank first in the ACC on the year. Duke had a season-high 17 at Boston College. The Blue Devils also lead the ACC with 35 offside calls.
• In a shortened season due to COVID-19, goalkeeper
Ruthie Jones has logged four shutouts, which ranks tied for second in the ACC.

Marykate McGuire ranks tied for fifth in the ACC with a 2.50 shots per game average. She also ranks tied for second in the ACC with four assists along with
Karlie Paschall.
• Duke is ranked in the top five for the first time since week 10 of the 2018 season. The Blue Devils' No. 4 national ranking a week ago was the highest regular season ledger since 2017.
• Sunday's contest against Miami will be Duke's fifth of five straight road games to conclude the regular season.
• No. 4 Duke closed a streak of five straight home contests against Virginia Tech, posting a 2-1-2 record over the homestand.

FIRST HALF DEFENSE...
The Blue Devils have allowed only three goals in the first half, which ranks tied for fourth in the ACC. North Carolina leads the way with one allowed, while FSU (2), Louisville (2), Duke (3), Clemson (3) and Notre Dame (3) round out the top six teams.
SCORING WOES IN FIRST HALF...
Duke has struggled scoring goals in the first half and have totaled only five tallies in the first half this season. Three of those goals came at Syracuse.
In comparing the ACC, North Carolina, Florida State and Pittsburgh have scored 10 first half goals to lead the way. Rounding out the league is Virginia Tech (9), Virginia (7), Clemson (6), Notre Dame (6), Duke (5), Louisville (5), Boston College (4), Wake Forest (3), Syracuse (2), Miami (1).
TOUGH SLATE...
For only the second time in school history, Duke faced the top two teams in the nation in back-to-back contests as the Blue Devils faced top-ranked North Carolina and second-ranked Florida State.
The last time it happened was in the 1998 campaign under head coach Bill Hempen as Duke faced No. 2 Santa Clara and No. 1 North Carolina in back-to-back games.
