Senior defensive end Drew Jordan has been a staple for the Duke defensive line, appearing in all 40 games since he joined the Blue Devils three seasons ago. The Suwanee, Ga., native boasts 81 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble during his time in Durham. This year, he's gotten off to a strong start as he is currently fourth on the team with 14 tackles, including 1.5 sacks through Duke's opening three games. Jordan recorded a career-high seven tackles against Boston College earlier this year, while also adding a sack.

Get to know Drew Jordan:
 Q: What is your major and why are you passionate about it? DJ: Evolutionary anthropology with a minor in sociology. I am definitely passionate about it because I am able to learn about the human body.
Q:Â What is the significance of wearing No. 86? DJ:Â At first I was wearing No. 89 in high school and coming here they thought 86 would fit. Eight and six are two strong and powerful numbers so that is why I wear it.
Q:Â What is your dream vacation spot? DJ:Â Somewhere in the Caribbean where I can just hang out on the beach and chill.
 Q: If you were stranded on an island, what teammate would you want with you? DJ: Probably Derrick Tangelo because we would have a good time.
 Q: What is your favorite Duke football memory? DJ: The biggest one that I have is my freshman year when we were playing UNC I came around and hit the quarterback and he threw the ball with two hands and Bryon Fields picked it off for a pick-six.
 Q: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live? DJ: Somewhere tropical, I don't know where but somewhere tropical.
 Q: What is your favorite home-cooked meal? DJ: My mom's prime rib, macaroni and green beans.

Jordan and the Blue Devils return to Durham this weekend when they host Virginia Tech on Saturday at 4 p.m. The game will be aired on the ACC Network.
