DURHAM, N.C. – The fifth-ranked Duke women's tennis team will travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on 12th-ranked Ohio State Friday, Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. The Blue Devils will then travel to Urbana, Ill., to take on Illinois Sunday, Feb. 2 for a 1 p.m., matchup.
LAST TIME OUT
The Blue Devils are coming off an impressive sweep over Kansas State and Tulsa at the ITA Kickoff Weekend on their home courts. Duke has yet to drop a point to an opponent after also blanking Grand Canyon (7-0) and Elon (7-0).

SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES
Ohio State secured its spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships following the weekend performance. Tabbed No. 25 by the ITA, the Buckeyes downed No. 24 Wake Forest (4-0) before a narrow 4-3 victory over ITA Kickoff Weekend host, No. 10 Oklahoma State.
Ohio State boasts three singles players in the latest ITA rankings, headlined by No. 11 Shiori Fukuda. Irina Cantos Siemers comes in behind Fukuda at No. 58 and Kolie Allen rounds out the rankings at No. 125.
LAST MATCHUP VERSUS OHIO STATE
The Blue Devils and the Buckeyes last met in the round of 16 at the 2019 ITA National Team Indoor Championships with Duke coming away with a 4-3 victory in Seattle, Wash.
Duke secured the doubles point which proved to be the difference as singles action was split between the two teams. Bilokin is the lone returner for Duke who tallied a victory against the Buckeyes last year.
SCOUTING THE FIGHTING ILLINI
Illinois is coming off a double-header sweep of its first two opponents of the season, downing Eastern Michigan (7-0) and Eastern Illinois (4-0) over the weekend.
Head coach
Evan Clark earned his 100th career win on Sunday following the weekend performances. Clark now holds an overall record of 100-51 since starting as a head coach in 2013.

In their last matchup, the Blue Devils blanked the Fighting Illini February 3, 2019 in Durham. With the victory, head coach
Jamie Ashworth notched his 500th-career win at Duke.
