Sean Sculley and
Nick Stachowiak will represent the Duke men's tennis team this week in the Oracle ITA Fall National Championships in Newport Beach, Calif.

Sculley and Stachowiak are one of 32 doubles teams at the event. The Duke duo earned automatic qualification to the ITA Fall Nationals by being semifinalists of the ITA Men's All-American Championships that took place in Tulsa, Okla., in early October.

Sculley, a junior out of Hilton Head Island, S.C., and Stachowiak, a senior Cary, N.C., native, have posted an impressive 11-4 record through the fall season. Although the two were not ranked in the initial doubles rankings on Sept. 17, Sculley and Stachowiak have posted a 4-1 record against ranked duos.

The Oracle ITA Fall National Championships is in its third season after replacing the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. The event is the lone event to feature competitors from all five divisions across the country. The doubles team of Sculley and Stachowiak are Duke's first players in this event.

The Duke team will play it's first match on Wednesday at approximately 7:30 p.m. against Oregon's Joshua Charlton and Ty Gentry. The Duck's duo is ranked 45th in ITA doubles rankings. Charlton and Gentry are 6-1 in the fall and coming into the match as an automatic qualifier by winning the ITA Northwest Regional.
