DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's cross country team returns to action Friday, traveling to Charlottesville, Va., to take part in the 2019 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships. The 10-kilometer race is set for an 11:30 a.m., start in Panorama Farms.

Representing the Blue Devils will be
CJ Ambrosio,
Paul Dellinger,
Zach Kinne,
Alex Miley,
Sam Rivera,
Josh Romine and
Tom Sullivan. Serving as an alternate will be
Cole Hoff.
Ambrosio, Dellinger and Miley lead the team with three top-10 finishes this season and were in the top five of Duke's finishers at the ACC Championships.
The Blue Devils are looking to secure their best finish as a team since 2015 when they placed eighth. At last year's race, Duke placed 13th overall.
Duke is coming off a first-place finish at the 6k Hokie Open last weekend in Blacksburg, Va. Prior to that race, Duke posted a seventh-place finish at the ACC Championships. The Blue Devils totaled 162 points and finished five guys in the top-40, including freshman Rivera who earned ACC Freshman of the year for his 37th-place time of 25:16.4.
Duke's impressive 2019 campaign has included five first place team finishes at the Elon Opener (Aug. 30), Roy Griak Invite (Sept. 14), Great American XC Festival (Oct. 5), the Pirate Invite (Oct. 18) and the Hokie Open (Nov. 8). The Blue Devils enter the race ranked eighth in the most recent USTFCCCA Southeast Regional Rankings.
