- Duke closes the regular season Friday against Virginia Tech and will honor the Blue Devils' nine seniors with a short ceremony prior to the game.
- The Duke marketing department is prepared for cooler temperatures Friday night with Duke snuggies for early arriving fans. Those arriving in time will receive a voucher for the giveaway and can collect the item at halftime. That way you'll be able to stay warm as the temperature drops during the game.
- It also will be 2000s night Friday, so get ready to celebrate by reminiscing about the previous decade through music, fads, dances, etc.
- Parking is the same for this game with general public parking in grounds off of Frank Bassett Drive and ADA parking in Whitford Drive.

- Duke and Virginia Tech meet for the 21st time in history Friday night. The Blue Devils hold a 13-3-4 overall record against the Hokies and are 9-1-1 since 2008.
- The Blue Devils have outscored Virginia Tech 28-10 since 2008 and last lost to the Hokies by a 3-1 score in 2016. Duke's lone home loss to Virginia Tech was in 2004, a 1-0 setback.

Celebrating the Seniors
- Duke will honor its nine seniors prior to the game Friday. The group consists of seven seniors and a pair of fifth-year graduate transfers. Over the past four seasons, the Blue Devils have compiled a 38-26-9 record, two NCAA Tournament appearances and an ACC semifinal showing in 2018.
- Their excellence on the field is only surpassed by their outstanding accomplishments in the classroom and the community. The seven true seniors have a combined 15 ACC Academic Honor Roll awards, while the team won an ACC Top Six for Service Award last year for their efforts in the Durham and Duke communities.

Breaking Down the Blue Devils
- Duke closes out the regular season this week against No. 22 Virginia Tech Friday. The Blue Devils are 7-7-2 and 1-3-1 in the past five games. Friday's game will determine the seeding for the ACC Championship with a number of different scenarios at play.
- Senior Daniele Proch is the headliner on offense with 10 goals and 25 points overall. He is one shy of his total of 26 points last season after 16 games. Max Moser has two goals and four assists for eight points, while Daniel Wright has two goals and six points. Overall, 11 different Duke players have scored a goal this season.
- Defensively, Duke started the season with shutouts in three of the first four games before allowing 13 goals in the next five outings. Aedan Stanley and Matthias Frick returned to center back roles in the middle of the year to help solidify the backline. In goal, Will Pulisic has an ACC-best 57 saves, five shutouts and a 1.34 goals against average.

- There are a host of scenarios in play for seeding in the upcoming ACC Championship. The Blue Devils can finish as high as fifth and as low as 12th depending on the outcome against the Hokies.
- Duke currently sits in ninth place in the league standings with seven points, but can drastically improve that placement with a win over the Hokies. Duke currently holds the goal differential tiebreak over NC State and Louisville which both have 10 points in league play.

About Virginia Tech
- Virginia Tech enters the regular season finale battling for a chance to host the opening round of the ACC Tournament. The Hokies are 7-5-2 overall and 1-4-2 against conference foes. They are ranked 22nd in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll prior to the midweek loss to Princeton. In terms of postseason chances, Virginia Tech is in good shape with a No. 10 RPI.
- The Hokies are averaging two goals per game this season and Kristo Strickler is the leader of the pack with eight goals and 19 points overall. Jon Ingason and Jacob Labovits both have five goals apiece. James Kasak has a team-best five assists.
- Defensively, Virginia Tech has allowed 22 goals with 15 of them coming in the second half. Mathijs Swaneveld has started all 14 games and sports a 1.55 goals against average and a .645 save percentage. He is averaging 2.9 saves per game.
