DURHAM, N.C. – Members of the Duke women's tennis team are set for the 2019 Women's Collegiate Invitational Oct. 3-6 in Malibu, Calif.
Margaryta Bilokin,
Kelly Chen,
Summer Dvorak and
Hannah Zhao will represent the Blue Devils on the West Coast at Pepperdine University.
Chen earned the No. 1 overall ranking in the tournament will face Amanda Meyer of Vanderbilt.
Chen enters the weekend ranked No. 5 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and last weekend went 2-1 in the fall opener.
Zhao is slated to take on Andrea Garcia of Florida State, Dvorak will battle Samantha Alicea (Arizona State) and Bilokin will face Sasha Vagramov (UCLA).
Bilokin and Zhao are both 2-1 overall following their performances at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic and Dvorak will compete in singles for the first time this fall.
Following the stint in Malibu, Chen will join
Meible Chi and
Chloe Beck at the ITA All-American in Tulsa, Okla., Oct. 5-12.
