Rahming Named to AP All-Bowl Team

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke senior wide receiver T.J. Rahming was named to The Associated Press All-Bowl team following his record-setting performance during the Blue Devils' 56-27 win over Temple in the Walk-On's Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La.
A native of Powder Springs, Ga., and the first Duke player to start in three bowl wins, Rahming caught 12 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns in the victory over the Owls. He broke the Independence Bowl record for receiving yards, a standard previously set by Virginia Tech's Isaiah Ford against Tulsa in 2015, and all-purpose yards (286) while matching the bowl mark for pass receptions.
In the Duke record book, Rahming established bowl game records for receiving yards in a game, receiving yards in a half (150; 2nd), receiving yards in a quarter (140; 3rd), all-purpose yards, pass receptions in a half (8; 2nd), highest yards per reception average (20.00) and most receptions of 20-plus yards (4) while equalling school standards for pass receptions in a game, pass receptions in a quarter (6; 3rd) and touchdown receptions.
A two-time All-ACC selection and three-time recipient of the Clarkston Hines Award as Duke's most outstanding receiver, Rahming closed his 50-game career with 253 pass receptions for 2,919 yards and 13 touchdowns.
The Blue Devils finished the 2018 campaign at 8-5 while participating in a bowl game for the sixth time in the last seven years.
