Duke Softball Fall Bat Kid Sign-ups Open

DURHAM, N.C. – With the fall season less than two weeks away, the Duke softball program has opened sign-ups for those interested in being bat kids during the team's six fall home games at the Duke Softball Stadium on the university's East Campus.
Children in the fifth grade or below are eligible to sign up. For more information and to sign up, email Casey.Price@duke.edu.
The Blue Devils open the fall season Sunday, Sept. 23 against Appalachian State at 1 p.m. ET. They return the following week against Virginia Wesleyan at a time to be determined. Duke will then hit the road for two matches, Sunday, Sept. 30 at UNCG (2 p.m.) and Thursday, Oct. 4 at Elon (6 p.m.).
Marissa Young's squad will cap the fall season with four-straight home games: Tuesday, Oct. 9 vs. NC Central (5 p.m.), Saturday Oct. 13 vs. Longwood (12:45 p.m.) and East Carolina (3:30 p.m.) and Saturday, Oct. 20 against NC State (TBA).
