DURHAM, N.C. – For the second straight week, Duke University's Leona Maguire will compete on the LPGA Tour as the senior will participate in the Marathon Classic by Owens Corning and O-I July 20-23 at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
Fresh off her second appearance in the U.S. Women's Open last week, Maguire will compete with two other former Blue Devils in the event including Laetitia Beck and Brittany Lang.
Dealing with inclement weather, Maguire missed the cut at the U.S. Women's Open with rounds of 75 and 78. She has already featured a busy summer competing in the Vagliano Trophy and winning the prestigious Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship.
Maguire will tee off beginning at 8:48 a.m., off hole No. 10 along with former standout college golfers Bronte Law and Annie Park.
Fans can follow the action via the Golf Channel all four days with coverage from 8:00-10 p.m. July 20 and July 21. It will also be aired from 7-9 p.m., on July 22 and from 9-11 p.m., on July 23. All times are tape delayed.
