DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke travels to Charlottesville, Va., for its first ACC road series of the 2017 campaign. Duke (12-11, 3-3 ACC) and No. 20 Virginia (17-5, 2-4 ACC) square off in the three-game series Friday-Sunday, March 24-26 at UVA's Davenport Field. ACC Network Extra is set to broadcast all three contests while Blue Devil Network will supply live audio with Chris Edwards on the call. The Cavaliers lead the all-time series against the Blue Devils, 104-57-1. Virginia has won seven of the past 10 Duke meetings, including a 2-1 series victory at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in 2016.

• 5: Junior Michael Smiciklas brings a five-game hit streak into the weekend. Smiciklas is batting .500 with a .625 on base percentage in that span.

• 24: Perfect Game national ranking of Duke's freshman class, consisting of outfielder Chase Cheek, left-hander Bill Chillari, catcher Chris Dutra, right-hander Cameron Kovachik, left-hander Adam Laskey, infielder/right-hander Matt Mervis, infielder Erikson Nichols, left-hander Graeme Stinson and right-hander Coleman Williams.
• 26: Double plays turned by the Blue Devils to rank second in the ACC and sixth nationally.
• 33: Career stolen bases for sophomore Jimmy Herron to rank 19th all-time at Duke.
