DURHAM, N.C. – Duke has played 10 true freshmen this season, the most during head coach David Cutcliffe's tenure. While 10 have seen action on the field, a number are also experiencing a redshirt season and learning on the scout teams.
Cutcliffe's Duke Football TV Show caught up tight end Noah Gray and offensive guard Rakavius Chambers, who are both playing as true freshmen. Defensive tackle Ben Frye and defensive end Chris Rumph II talked about the experience of redshirting and what the process has been like for them.
Duke (5-6, 2-5 ACC) closes the regular season this Saturday at Wake Forest (7-4, 4-3 ACC). Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m., and the game will be televised live on RSN.
