DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's lacrosse head coach Kerstin Kimel and the Blue Devil program welcomed 10 freshmen to Durham ahead of the 2018 campaign. Goalkeeper Chase Henriquez joins the program from Norwell, Mass.

Prior to Duke: Henriquez anchored a Norwell team that won back-to-back state championships in 2015 and 2016. She made the game-winning save in the title game her junior year en route to being named to the Under Armour Underclass New England Team and the ESPN All-Boston Lacrosse Team. Hailing from Norwell, Mass., Henriquez joins the Blue Devils after totaling 455 saves during her prep career.
What is your best lacrosse memory?
CH: Back-to-back state champions Div. II 2015 & 2016
When did you start playing lacrosse?
CH: I started playing lacrosse in third grade. I was a field player up until my freshman year of high school.
Who has had the largest impact on your life?
CH: My family - endless love and support.
Why did you choose Duke?
CH: Academics
What are your goals for your collegiate career?
CH: -Fulbright Scholar
