WILMINGTON, N.C. – Through 36 holes at The Landfall Tradition, the fourth-ranked Duke women's golf team along with sophomore Ana Belac continue to lead with 18 holes remaining at the 6,166-yard, par 72 Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.

The Blue Devils lead by one stroke over second-ranked Alabama (563), after totaling rounds of 277 and 285 over the first two days for a 14-under ledger. Michigan State (574), South Carolina (577) and Oklahoma State (580) rounded out the top five.

After firing a career-best six-under, 66, Friday, Belac backed that up with a three-under, 69, and is tied for the individual lead along with Beth Lillie of Virginia with a nine-under, 135. A product of Portoroz, Slovenia, Belac posted a one-over-par, 37, on the front nine after collecting a birdie on the first hole. Her putter caught fire on the back nine as she drained three putts on No. 12, No. 13 and No. 18 from 20 or more feet. She also added a five-footer for birdie on No. 10 to finish the back nine at four-under-par. She hit 14 greens, 13 fairways and added 28 putts on the day. Belac's 36-hole ledger of 135 is a career-best and marks the second time this fall she has registered back-to-back rounds in the 60s.

Freshman Jaravee Boonchant registered yet another under-par round with a one-under, 71, and remained tied fifth overall with a four-under, 140. She opened the day with four consecutive pars and then back-to-back birdies on No. 5 and No. 6. Boonchant, who is from Bangkok, Thailand, suffered a double-bogey on No. 7 and bogeys on No. 8 and No. 9 to fall back to two-over-par. She collected Duke's first eagle of the 2017-18 campaign on the 336-yard, par four 11th and another birdie on No. 13 to get back to one-under where she finished the day.

With two victories in three events this fall, senior Leona Maguire started making her run Saturday as she carded a two-under, 70, and enters the final round tied ninth with a two-under, 142. Maguire, who hails from Cavan, Ireland, notched birdies on No. 5 and No. 6 to get to two-under-par on the day. She added eight straight pars until she drained another birdie on the 335-yard, par four 15th to get to three-under. A bogey on No. 17 and par on 18 closed her day with a 70. Maguire led Duke hitting 17 greens on the day.

Even with a triple-bogey on No. 1, freshman Miranda Wang came back to turn in a three-over-par, 75, Saturday and is tied 19th with a 145. Wang, a native of Beijing, China, totaled four birdies on the day and got her score back to one-over-par through 15 holes, but bogeyed 16 and 17 to close the day.

Junior Virginia Elena Carta opened her day with a birdie on No. 1 and ended up making the turn at even par with three birdies, three bogeys and three pars. She closed the day with a five-over, 41, on the back propelled by a triple-bogey on the par five 12th. Carta, who is from Udine, Italy, is tied for 47th with a 150.

Duke will tee off Sunday beginning at 8:45 a.m., with a shotgun start off holes No. 1-3 along with Alabama and Michigan State.
