DURHAM, N.C. – Duke redshirt junior quarterback
Thomas Sirk has stepped into the role of starter this season and has the Blue Devils off to a 2-1 start. Sirk is a dual threat signal caller who owns eight career passing touchdowns and 10 rushing scores.

Jim Collins, who recruited Sirk out of Glen St. Mary, Fla., also shared his thoughts on Sirk's development since arriving on campus.
Sirk currently leads the ACC in total offensive yards per game with 323.0, 50 yards per game more than anybody else in the league. Sirk's average also stands 17th in the country. He also tops the ACC with 22.00 completions per game. For his career, Sirk owns 10 rushing touchdowns, the sixth most by a Duke quarterback in program history.
Duke (2-1) plays the third of four straight home games Saturday, hosting No. 20 Georgia Tech (2-1). Kickoff for the ACC opener is set for noon ET on ESPN2.
