DURHAM, N.C.— Seniors
Michael Ricaurte and
Turner Southey-Gordon of the Duke University men's golf program earned their degrees from the institution Sunday.
Ricaurte, who hails from Columbus, Ohio, received a degree in Sociology. He has played in seven tournament this season, recording a pair of top 20 finishes, including a tie for eighth at the Blue Devil Spring Shootout. Ricaurte has a career-best 74.4 stroke average over 18 rounds of golf this season.
Southey-Gordon earned his degree in Cultural Anthropology. The Toronto, Ontario, Canada, native has a 74.4 stroke average with a pair of top 20 finishes this season. He has shot even-par or better six times on the year and 17 times in his career.
