Setting the Scene
The 13th-ranked Duke women's basketball team (8-2) will close a two-game homestand Thursday, Dec. 17 as the Blue Devils will host Liberty (3-6) at 7:00 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Thursday's contest will be aired live on Blue Devil Network+ and also carried on the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network on WDNC 620 AM, 99.3 FM, 96.5 FM and www.GoDuke.com with Steve Barnes (PXP) and Morgan Patrick (Color) on the air. It will mark the second game in a stretch of three contests in a span of seven days for the Blue Devils.

There is no charge for parking in the Blue Zone Lots or Chemistry Lot ... Game day parking in PG4 costs $5 per vehicle ... A Look at Liberty
Liberty enters Thursday's ledger with a 3-6 overall record. The Lady Flames have lost six out of their last seven contests under the direction of head coach Carey Green. Ashley Rininger (14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds), Mickayla Sanders (12.0 points) and Sadalia Ellis (11.8 points) have led Liberty on the season. So far the year, the Lady Flames have totaled a 1-2 record in games played on the road.
The Series with Liberty
Duke looks to continue its past success against Liberty as the Lady Flames visit Durham Thursday. The Devils hold a 3-0 record against Liberty, but this will be the first meeting since 2004. Duke owns a 2-0 mark in Cameron Indoor Stadium. In their three previous meetings, Duke has won by an average margin of 32.7 points.
Blue Devils at Home
Duke has totaled a 4-1 record in games played at home this season. In those contests, the Blue Devils have averaged 74.0 points and hit 45.5 percent of their field goals. Duke is averaging 5.0 made three-pointers in Cameron this season. Azurá Stevens is putting up some monster numbers in five home contests averaging 22.4 points, 13.0 rebounds, 3.2 blocks, 1.8 steals and 1.6 assists. She is hitting 56.4 percent of her field goals. Rebecca Greenwell has hit 13-of-35 treys and averaged 16.2 points a game at home. She has hit 50.0 percent of her field goals.
