Rebounding from Overtime with the Blue Devils

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke won the longest game in ACC history two Saturdays ago at Virginia Tech when the clash went four overtime periods with the Blue Devils coming away with a 45-43 victory. Prior to Duke's win, the longest game involving at least one ACC team was three OTs.
Coach David Cutcliffe's Duke Football Show caught up with redshirt senior safety Jeremy Cash, senior wide receiver Max McCaffrey, redshirt junior tight end Erich Schneider and Cutcliffe to talk about the impact of playing that many extra sessions, the game winning play and all the preparation that was involved.
Cutcliffe was also on the sidelines for one of the longest games in NCAA history as his Ole Miss Rebels fell in seven overtimes against Arkansas on November 3, 2001.
Duke (6-2, 3-1 ACC) returns to action Saturday at No. 21 North Carolina. Kickoff is set for 12 noon with television coverage provided by ESPN2.
