Women's Lacrosse Hosts Fall Action This Weekend

DURHAM, N.C. – After opening the fall season with a scrimmage against in-state opponent Elon last Friday, the Duke women's lacrosse program will host more action Saturday and Sunday on the West Campus practice fields.
The Blue Devils host the annual Duke Fall Tournament Saturday at the turf and grass practice fields on Frank Bassett Drive. Davidson, Duke, Elon, Florida, High Point, James Madison, Michigan, North Carolina, Old Dominion, Richmond, Vanderbilt and Winthrop will take part in contests beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing through 2 p.m. The Blue Devils are slated to take on North Carolina at 9 a.m. Richmond at 12 p.m. and James Madison at 2 p.m.
Sunday's scrimmages will see Duke go up against Michigan at 9 a.m. and Florida at 11 a.m. at the grass practice field. The Gators and the Wolverines will face off in between the two contests at 10 a.m.
Admission to all of this weekend's action in Durham is free. Fans planning to attend should be advised that other athletic events on campus will affect parking availability. On Saturday, Duke will host a women's basketball exhibition game at 1 p.m. while on Sunday other athletic events on campus include volleyball at 12 p.m. and a televised women's soccer match at 1 p.m.
Fan parking Saturday and Sunday will be available in the 751 Lot and in the Grounds Lot. Disability parking will be on Frank Bassett Drive. Team vans will be directed to Frank Bassett Drive while team buses will be parked in the Grounds Lot. Please see the attached parking map for more information.
