• Senior quarterback Anthony Boone improved to 16-1 as a starting quarterback in regular-season games.
- Boone's overall record of 16-3 (.842 winning percentage) is second best among Duke quarterbacks behind only Worth Lutz's .846 mark.
• Boone's 16 wins as a starting quarterback put him in sole possession of second on the Blue Devils' all-time list. Jerry Barger (1951-54) owns the program record with 17 victories.
• Boone tossed his 28th career touchdown pass in the first quarter, good for sole possession of seventh on the Duke chart.
• Redshirt freshman quarterback Thomas Sirk threw the second touchdown pass of his career on a three-yard jump pass to tight end David Reeves in the fourth quarter. Both of Sirk's touchdown passes have been to Reeves.
• Senior wide receiver Jamison Crowder hauled in eight passes for 99 yards. He now has 238 receptions, good for the third most in ACC history and the second most by a Duke player. Former Blue Devil Conner Vernon (2009-12/283 catches) holds the all-time league and school mark.
