UNITED KINGDOM – After carding a two-under-par, 70, in the pre-qualifying stage of the Ricoh Women's British Open, Duke senior
Laetitia Beck was one of 26 golfers who advanced to final qualifying, which will take place on Monday, July 29 at Kingsbarns Golf Links in Scotland.
Beck, who is a product of Caesarea, Israel, turned in a 70 on Monday and was only four strokes off medalist Tamara Johns, who carded a six-under-par, 66, at The Berkshire Golf Club in the United Kingdom.
A 2013 All-America at Duke, Beck has only played in one career LPGA event as she competed in the 2011 CN Canadian Women's Open and finished tied for 70th. The Ricoh Women's British Open will be played Aug. 1-4 at St. Andrews in Scotland.
