DURHAM, N.C. – Prior to one of the biggest women's basketball contests of the 2013-14 campaign, the Blue Devil Network is pleased to announce it will air a one-hour special show leading up to the Jimmy V Women's Basketball Classic featuring No. 1 Connecticut at No. 2 Duke. The show will air free of charge Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. via www.GoDuke.com.
Blue Devil IMG Sports Network's Morgan Patrick will host the show along with former Division I women's basketball head coach Debbie Taylor.
During the pregame special, a number of guests will join Morgan and Taylor, including ESPN analyst Doris Burke, V Foundation Board Member Bucky Waters, Duke Vice President & Director of Athletics
Kevin White, Associated Press writer Doug Feinberg, Duke assistant coach
Al Brown, Connecticut Radio's Bob Joyce and the Durham Herald-Sun's Steve Wiseman.
Duke and Connecticut, the consensus top two teams in the national according to the Associated Press poll, both enter the contest with 10-0 records.
The contest will be the 12th annual women's game of the Jimmy V Classic and the second time the Blue Devils have hosted the event, which benefits The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Tuesday's game will be aired live on ESPN2 at 7 p.m., from Cameron Indoor Stadium.
