McCallie Recaps 2011-12 and Looks Ahead

DURHAM, N.C.— Blue Devil head coach Joanne P. McCallie recently took time away from her busy schedule to sit down with GoDuke.com to recap the 2011-12 season and look ahead to next year in which Duke returns four starters and 88.7 percent of its scoring.
Duke is coming off advancing to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight for the third straight year, while producing a 27-6 overall and 15-1 mark in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) action. The Blue Devils won at least a share of the ACC regular season title for the third straight year and their first outright league crown since the 2006-07 campaign under the direction of McCallie. McCallie, who just completed her fifth year at Duke, was named the ACC Coach of the Year for the second time over the last three years.
