How do I control the video quality?
Duke Inside Access Baseball Gamecenter lets you adjust the video quality by controlling the video streaming bitrate. You can choose a bitrate (400Kbps, 800Kbps, 1600Kbps) that best matches your network's available bandwidth. The video player will default to 1600Kbps.
In addition, Duke Inside Access' adaptive streaming will automatically adjust the video bit rate to best fit your network's bandwidth. To turn on the adaptive streaming option, click on the button labeled "HQ" to the left of the volume controls. Please note that your media player may take a few moments to optimize performance while adaptive streaming is enabled.
In order to enable adaptive streaming, you will be prompted to install the NeuLion plug-in.
If you should run into any problems playing the video after installing the plug-in, you can switch back to standard streaming by clicking on the button labeled "HQ".
