• Duke scored on its first offensive drive of the game for the first time since doing so in a 48-27 win over Tulane on Sept. 24.
• The Blue Devils' defense forced a three-and-out on Georgia Tech's first two drives of the game, marking the first time it has done so this season.

Brandon Braxton
• Pulled in a career-best 41-yard reception on a pass from

August Campbell
• Posted his first quarterback hurry of the season and the second of his career to help the Duke defense hold the Yellow Jackets to a field goal on a drive late in the third quarter.

• Finished the day with 12 tackles to total 10 or more tackles in a game for the sixth time in his career.

Charlie Hatcher

• Credited with his first career start at defensive end and registered three tackles on the day.
Sean Renfree
• Threw a 15-yard touchdown reception to Varner on the Blue Devils' first offensive drive to move into a tie for sixth all-time in career passing touchdowns at 27.
• Matched a career high with four touchdown passes on the day to give him 30 career passing TDs, moving him past Anthony Dilweg into sixth place on Duke's all-time chart.
• Moved into fifth place on Duke's career passing yards chart with a 250-yard performance on the day, giving him 6,199 career yards.
• Recorded his seventh career game with two or more TD passes in his third multi-touchdown effort of the season.
Sydney Sarmiento
• Collected the first fumble recovery of his career on a caused fumble by
Walt Canty in the third quarter.
Will Snyderwine
• Moved into a tie for fourth place on Duke's all-time career made PAT list with his kick on the Blue Devils' opening scoring drive.
• Maintained a perfect career record of 81-for-81 in PAT attempts with four kicks on the day.
Donovan Varner
• First carry of the game was a career-long 39-yard run on the Blue Devils' opening drive, which set up a touchdown two plays later. He finished the day with a career-best two carries for 42 yards.
• Notched his second touchdown reception of the season, a 12-yard pass from Renfree, to cap a 13-play, 80-yard scoring drive by the Blue Devils in the second quarter.
• Has now caught a pass in a school-record 36 consecutive games.
Scottie Montgomery previously held the program record at 35 consecutive games with at least one catch.
• Totaled five receptions for 47 yards and one touchdown.
• Along with
Conner Vernon, moved into first place in the ACC with a combined 374 career receptions, the most in conference history by two teammates.
Conner Vernon
• Caught a 15-yard pass from Renfree for a touchdown on the Blue Devils' opening drive for his sixth receiving touchdown of the season. That score moved him into a tie for eighth on Duke's all-time list with 13 career receiving touchdowns.
• Has now caught at least one pass in 34 consecutive games.
• Finished the day with nine receptions for 92 yards, giving him 23 career games with 5+ catches for the most in school history. He also matches a single-season record at nine games with five or more receptions.
• Along with
Donovan Varner, moved into first place in the ACC with a combined 374 career receptions, the most in conference history by two teammates.
