DURHAM, N.C.- At the annual Duke women's basketball media day recently, Blue Devil Sports Network's Morgan Patrick caught up with freshman Amber Henson to chat about the Duke experience so far, what she likes doing away from basketball and other topics.
Henson, who is a product of Tampa, Fla., is a three-time Parade All-America and the 2011 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior. She averaged 20.7 points, 13.6 rebounds, 6.7 blocks and 2.5 assists in her final year at Walter L. Sickles H.S. She netted 60 double-doubles and one triple-double in her career.
Duke will next host Auburn on Friday, Nov. 18 at 12:00 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium for the home opener.
