35 Completions Tied For Fourth Most
The 35 completions by Renfree are tied for the fourth most in a single game at Duke with Spencer Fischer, who had 35 against Virginia in 1995.
No Interceptions in Last Three Games
Renfree has not thrown an interception in any of the last three games. He has attempted 108 passes without an interception in those three contests and 116 pass attempts since his last interception against Virginia Tech.
100-Yard Receiving Game
Sophomore wide receiver Conner Vernon tallied his fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season with 134 yards on 12 catches. He had over 100 yards in three of the first four games on the year and now has seven career 100-yard games to rank tied for third on the Duke career list with his teammate Donovan Varner.
Vernon Matches Career High
The 12 catches for Vernon are a career high and is the third time in his career he has caught 10 or more passes in a game. He also had 10 receptions against Elon in the season opener and against N.C. State last season. The 12 catches are tied for the 10th most in a single game in school history with four other players. The last player with at least 12 catches was Scottie Montgomery against Vanderbilt in 1998.
Vernon Joins 1,500 Club
Vernon became the 13th player in Duke history with at least 1,500 career receiving yards. Vernon tallied 134 yards to give him 1,597 in his career and move him up to 11th all-time.

Campbell Longest Fumble Return in School History
Redshirt sophomore safety August Campbell recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter and returned it 95 yards for a touchdown. It was the longest fumble return for a touchdown in school history, breaking a 54-year old record which was set by Ed Rushton on a 77-yard return for a score against Pittsburgh in 1956. The fumble was forced by safety Walt Canty. The last fumble return for a touchdown for the Blue Devils was last season when Charlie Hatcher scored from seven yards out at Virginia.
Ninth Non-Offensive Touchdown Under Cutcliffe
The fumble return for a touchdown was the ninth non-offensive touchdown (fumble or interception return) in 34 games under head coach David Cutcliffe. It was the first this season after Duke had three in 2008 and five last year.
Daniels and Brown Team Up on Fumble
Junior safety Matt Daniels stripped Boston College running back Montel Harris on third down inside the Duke 20-yard line. The caused fumble was the second of the season for Daniels and fifth of his career. True freshman Kelby Brown recovered the fumble, his third recovered fumble of the year to tie for the ACC lead.

Brown Moves Into Freshman Top 10
Brown had six tackles in the game to move into the top 10 for single season tackles by Duke freshmen. His six stops give him 59 on the season to rank tied with Brendan Dewan for eighth most.
