PRAGUE, Czech Republic ? Former Duke star Caroline Cryer had three goals and two assists while rising Duke junior Sarah Bullard added two goals to help top-seeded United States to a 20-3 semifinal victory over England in the 2009 Federation of International Lacrosse Women's World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic on Wednesday.
The U.S. advances to its eighth consecutive World Cup final in its quest to regain the gold, which it lost to Australia in the 2005 IFWLA World Cup in Annapolis, Md. The Americans will play either Australia or Canada in the finals on Saturday.
Former Duke goalie Megan Huether was credited for one save while playing the second half in the U.S. net. Former Duke All-America Katie Chrest chipped in one assist.
Bullard was named the Player of the Game for her efforts.
