DURHAM, N.C. ? Duke women's lacrosse senior Megan Del Monte recently sat down with GoDuke.com for her senior profile. Del Monte, out of Lutherville, Md., has 23 goals and 25 assists to her name for the 2009 season, totaling 48 points. She is currently second on the team in assists. Last season, Del Monte was named an IWLCA/US Lacrosse Third Team All-America, Inside Lacrosse Third Team All-America, First Team All-South honoree, and All-ACC selection. Del Monte discusses the best advice she's ever received, her high school uniform, NSYNC, and much more.

GD: What's your favorite book?
MD: Breaking Dawn
GD: What's your favorite TV show?
MD: Friday Night Lights
GD: What's your favorite food?
MD: Anything Mexican
GD: Are you superstitious? If so, describe why?
MD: I am extremely superstitious. I always have to warm up in the same shuttle line and wear the same pair of socks for every game.
GD: What would the perfect end to your athletic career look like?
MD: Winning the last game I ever play.
GD: What is your dream job?
MD: Traveling as a premier food critic.
GD: Being a few years removed from high school, what pops in your head when you think back to your high school career?
MD: The beautiful plaid kilt and brown shoes I got to wear every day.
GD: What's the best advice you've ever received?
MD: Fake high, shoot low.
GD: What's your favorite sport, other than your own, to watch on TV?
MD: College basketball.
GD: What's the best concert you've ever attended?
MD: NSYNC circa 1997.
GD: What do you do in your free time?
MD: Make Rice Krisipie treats with my roommates.

MD: I am not much of a gamer. My mom never allowed me to play video games as a child, so I have always preferred reading.
