DURHAM, N.C.-The Duke University men's soccer team garnered a 2-1 win over 14th-seed Michigan State on Sunday afternoon to advance to the NCAA Tournament round of 16. The Blue Devils will take on ACC rival and No. 3 seed Wake Forest on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m., at Spry Stadium.
Tickets for the contest are $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased by calling the WFU Ticket Office at (336) 758-3322, online at WakeForestSports.com or at the Spry Stadium ticket office on the day of the game.
This will be Duke's third time advancing the third round since the NCAA expanded the field to 48 teams in 2001. The Blue Devils won both of their previous two third-round contests in 2004 and 2006.
Wake Forest is the tournament's No. 3 seed and earned a spot in the round of 16 with a 2-1 win over UNC Wilmington. The Demon Deacons are unbeaten in 13 of their last 14 NCAA Tournament games and are 18-10-2 overall in NCAA Tournament action.
