It mark's Redick's 98th career double-figure scoring game and Duke improved to 83-15 in those games ... It also marked Redick's 49th career 20-point game and seventh of 2005-06, and his 10th 30-point performance, including his fourth of 2005-06.
With his 35 points, Redick pushes his career total to 2,112 and he moves into sixth place on the Duke chart. He passed Gene Banks (1978-81) and Jason Williams (2000-02) who both scored 2,079 in their respective Duke careers. Currently in fifth place on the chart is Mark Alarie, who scored 2,136 from 1983-86.
Redick hit 6-of-11 shots behind the arc, pushing his Duke career record total to 364. He remains in second place on the ACC and moves into 10th place on the NCAA chart. Virginia's Curtis Staples is first on both lists with 413 career three-pointers. On the NCAA chart, Redick passed Loyola Marymount's Jeff Fryer and into a tie with Valparaiso's Bryce Drew in 10th place. Arkansas' Pat Bradley is ninth on the NCAA chart with 366 career triples.
Senior Shelden Williams scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, marking his fifth double-double of the season, including his third straight, and ACC-leading 43rd of his career. Duke is now 37-6 when Williams records a double-double. Williams also recorded a career high six steals. Williams has reached double figures 78 times in his Duke career, including 11 this season, and he has reached 20-plus points 20 times in his career and seven times this season. It also marked his 48th career game with 10-plus rebounds.
Williams' one block gives him 328 in his career and he remains in second place on the Duke chart and eighth on the ACC chart. Clemson's Elden Cambell is seventh on the ACC chart with 334 career blocks while Mike Gminski, in fifth place on the ACC chart, is Duke's all-time leading blocker with 345.
Freshman Josh McRoberts recorded 15 points, setting his season and career high. McRoberts has reached double-figures in scoring four times this season.
Duke improves to 6-0, in the all-time series with UNC Greensboro. Duke is 133-24 against teams currently in the Southern Conference including a 2-0 mark this season
