DURHAM, N.C. - With only two ACC Championships remaining, Duke University currently leads all Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) institutions with five league championships in 2002-03. The Blue Devils netted three titles over the weekend as women's tennis, men's tennis and women's golf each claimed league crowns. Duke also picked up men's and women's basketball ACC Championships in March.
So far in 2002-03, Duke leads with five titles, while North Carolina and Virginia have four each. Florida State has three, followed by Maryland, N.C. State and Wake Forest with two while Clemson and Georgia Tech each have one.
Over the last five years, Duke ranks second in the ACC with 26 overall titles with North Carolina leading the pack with 29. Following the Blue Devils are Virginia (14), Clemson (12), Florida State (12), N.C. State (10), Maryland (10), Georgia Tech (7) and Wake Forest (4).
