Duke's Mike Hart Named ACC Player of the Week

Duke's Mike Hart has been named the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week announced on Monday by league officials.

In Duke's 42-28 loss to Vanderbilt last week, Hart caught four passes for 86 yards including a 31-yard touchdown. He also added a two-point conversion while registering a grade of 96 percent and eight knockdown blocks. With the four catches, the Sayville, N.Y., native extended his streak of consecutive games with at least on pass reception to 20.

On the season, Hart, an All-ACC choice last fall, has 19 receptions for 299 yards and two touchdowns.

Other award winners were Talman Gardner (Offensive Back, WR, Florida State), Chad Carson (Defensive Lineman, LB, Clemson), Michael Boulware (Defensive Back, OLB, Florida State), Brooks Barnard (Specialist, P, Maryland), and Chris Rix (Rookie, QB, Florida State).
