Duke tied the game at 1-1 in the 22nd minute when freshman forward Gwendolyn Oxenham (Gulf Breeze, Fla.) scored her fourth goal of the season on a punt from Helgadottir.

Duke finally capitalized on a scoring opportunity in the second half when sophomore midfielder Carly Fuller (Tualatin, Ore.) beat Crawford to score the game-winning goal at 80:48.
"We needed to get a chance to scored and we did," Fuller said. "This was a really big game for us because we have not done well in the ACC in the past and this year we have now won our first two games."
