Emily Norcross joined the Duke University Athletic Training staff in 2007 after spending the previous four years at the University of Southern California. Norcross works primarily with the Duke women’s soccer and women’s track and field teams.
At USC, Norcross worked with women’s soccer and swimming and diving. Prior to USC, she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of North Carolina working with volleyball and gymnastics.
A native Californian, Emily is a graduate of Sonoma State University where she earned a B.S. in kinesiology, with an emphasis on athletic training while serving as an undergraduate athletic trainer for four years. She is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association as well as being a North Carolina Licensed Athletic Trainer.
Emily resides in Durham with her husband Marc and daughter Kendal.
