Grace Hanlon is the Associate Director of the Legacy Fund and Environmental Branding and has been with Duke Athletics since 2016.
In her role, Hanlon supports fundraising efforts for the Legacy Fund, which has fully endowed basketball scholarships, coaching positions and capital projects. She also assists with environmental branding across athletic facilities, helping to build distinct identities for Duke’s 27 varsity sports while reinforcing the overall Duke brand. Additionally, she leads the planning and execution of the annual K Academy and contributes to a variety of department-wide events.
Hanlon transitioned to the Legacy Fund in 2021 after serving as Assistant Director of Special Events and Assistant Director of Facilities and Game Operations from 2018 to 2021. She began her career in Duke Athletics as a Resource Acquisition, Premium Services and Hospitality Assistant.
A native of Chapel Hill, N.C., Hanlon earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and event management from Elon University and a master’s degree in sport industry management from Georgetown University.
