Zach Smith joined the Duke Athletics staff in December of 2020 and currently serves as an Associate Director of Creative Video for Blue Devil Network. In his current role, he works with the football and women's lacrosse programs to ideate and develop social media content and recruiting content, as well as meet in-house content production needs.
A Jacksonville, Fla. native, Smith previously worked with Jacksonville University as the Assistant Director of Multimedia Services from December 2018 until December 2020. In this role, Smith oversaw the ideation, creation and distribution of all athletics creative content. He previously worked with Florida Southern College as the Athletic Video Coordinator (2016-2018).
Smith earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and sports communications and marketing from Florida Southern College in 2018, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.
