Tim Utrup was appointed General Manager of Blue Devil Sports Properties in July 2025, where he leads the BDSP team and oversees the multimedia rights partnership with Duke Athletics.
Utrup brings more than two decades of sports leadership experience to the role. He spent 11 years at Learfield, most recently as Senior Vice President of Sports Properties, collaborating with more than 40 universities nationwide and advising high-performing property teams. Prior to that, he served for 13 years as Vice President and General Manager of the Lincoln Saltdogs, earning Organization of the Year honors three times and being named GM/Executive of the Year on three occasions.
A native of Fort Jennings, Ohio, Utrup earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management and accounting from the University of Findlay, where he was a four-year letterwinner on the men’s basketball team.
